Marc Jacobs not a fan of online shopping

American fashion designer Marc Jacobs is not a big fan of online shopping and prefers to physically go and pick clothes.


The 50-year-old says that he gains pleasure from the traditional form of shopping, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

”The idea of actually enjoying shopping for clothes, to touch fabrics to try things on, to have a conversation with a sales person,” fashion magazine Vogue quoted Jacobs as saying.

”All of that to me, it feels like it’s becoming archaic when I hear people saying, ‘Oh I’d rather order it online, who wants to stand in-line at a store?’ ‘Who wants to spend their Saturday going shopping?,” added Jacobs.

Fishy Fashion Lookbooks

Young designer Michael Mrzyglod introduces a colourful lookbook for his debut collection entitled Chin-suru. In modern Japanese slang, “chin-suru” is a verb meaning “warming up food in a microwave,” or quite simply, “microwave.” For the designer, it stands as a metaphor for cultural and social changes that have taken place in Japanese society over the last century, resulting from the Meiji reformation. 

Featuring bold styles and wild colors, the eye-catching lookbook showcases a modern new collection of menswear. The muse of the collection, the Khoi fish, lends its hues to the collection’s pieces. The fish’s influence is further evident in the collection’s graphic prints, flowing fabrics and the hooded headpiece. This lookbook is truly a piece of performance art. Mrzyglod is currently studying at the London College of Fashion.

Yoda, the Cat with 4 Ears

Meet Yoda, a household pet born with an extra pair of ears.

Chicago, Illinois, couple Valerie and Ted Rock took the cat in two years ago after they visited a local bar, where a group of drinkers were handing the animal around and making fun of him.

Since being adopted by the Rocks and after getting his picture posted on the Internet, the two-year-old feline has become an international media celebrity.

The Rocks have received calls from Good Morning America, Fox News and The Tyra Banks Show. The moggy's mugshot has graced the pages of the London Guardian and British tabloids.

Despite his strange appearance, Yoda - named after the pointy-eared Star Wars character (pictured below) - is a perfectly normal and affectionate cat and a delight to have around.

His extra ears are thought to be the result of a genetic mutation.

But Yoda's owners are keeping a close watch on their much-loved pet. They are concerned he could be catnapped because he is so different.

4. Woman Hits McDonald's Drive-Thru—on a Horse: If you're on horseback and desperate for a Quarter Pounder, you are out of luck. A UK woman found this out the hard way over the weekend, when she tried to ride a horse through the drive-thru at a Manchester McDonald's. It did not end well.

Man Busted After Threats Against Nancy Grace: A New York state man tweeted a series of gruesome death threats to a pair of newscasters—and when he was arrested, he may have been on his way to make good on them, police say. David Lee Simpson was obsessed with convicted Arizona murderer Jodi Arias, and he apparently wasn't happy with the way Nancy Grace and Jane Velez-Mitchell covered her trial.
